Frontiers in Bioscience-Scholar (Scholar) is an international peer-reviewed open access journal focused on the biological sciences. The journal integrates the art of science publication with a diverse array of information, tools and techniques. Opinion and information that are useful to investigators in any discipline in biology and medicine including biochemistry, molecular biology, botany, agronomy, microbiology, parasitology, virology, immunology, biotechnology, marine biology, clinical and basic medicine, biomedical engineering, genetics, epidemiology and preventive medicine, ecology, entomology, bioinformatics will be published following peer review. Considered manuscripts include full review papers, mini-reviews, and opinion pieces on any topic within the scope of the Journal.
Open Access: Free for readers, with article processing charges (APC) paid by authors or their institutions.
Peer Review: Manuscripts are peer-reviewed and a first decision is provided to authors approximately 30 days after submission. Time from submission to acceptance is approximately 50-60 days.
