About the Journal

1. About Us

Frontiers in Bioscience-Landmark (Landmark) is dedicated to the publication of research in biological science. Landmark has been constructing the largest peer-reviewed "Encyclopedia of Bioscience" since 1996, with the help of over 1000 managing editors supporting the creation of this valuable scientific resource for scientists across the globe. Starting from 2021, our international board of research-active academic Editors, led by Editor-in-Chief Graham Pawelec, is comprised of leaders in their respective fields.

Landmark is a modern forum of scientific communication for global researchers, without regard to gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, religion, or socio-economic status. Data and information useful to investigators in any discipline in biology and medicine including biochemistry, molecular biology, botany, agronomy, microbiology, parasitology, virology, immunology, biotechnology, marine biology, clinical and basic medicine, biomedical engineering, genetics, epidemiology and preventive medicine, ecology, entomology, bioinformatics will be published following peer-review. Submissions for publication in Landmark include reviews and research articles in basic science and clinical science, as well as technical notes and protocols.

Starting from 2021, all content of Landmark is available online, and is fully viewable and searchable. All manuscripts of Landmark are published as open access articles under the unrestricted CC-BY license. The copyright is retained by the author(s).

BRI will insert the following note in the footer of the first page of the published text:
